The MES project at AF Station Thoise in J&K involves the establishment of three new twin hangars, each measuring 40 by 80 meters and 19 meters high. The hangars were constructed using pre-engineered building technology and have a total structural weight of approximately 1200 tons. The project includes a comprehensive water supply system, both internal and external, as well as modern electrification systems to meet the facility's requirements.

The project's design takes into account the challenging climate of Thoise, with careful planning of roofing and area drainage to ensure good traffic movement and prevent water stagnation. The pavement quality concrete (PQC) ensures strong and durable pavements, contributing to improved station performance. Additionally, a central heating system is installed to provide optimal working conditions, while fire alarm detection and fire protection systems are in place to ensure safety.

The hangars are equipped with electric overhead traveling (EOT) cranes for efficient movement of heavy equipment and machinery. Essential hot water supply systems are also incorporated to meet personnel and operational requirements. The project's completion marks a significant enhancement of AF Station Thoise's operational functionality, ready to withstand the harsh and demanding weather conditions of the region.
